Weaver Jane is an artisan handweaver creating unique, functional, elegant wraps and rugs using wool and other fine natural fibres. Introduced to traditional floor looms in her early twenties, she studied weaving, spinning and dyeing, and participated in regional and local art shows, workshops and seminars in and around the West Kootenay for over 20 years.

Life’s experiences have forged an appreciation for simplicity and the freedom it allows, which brought a depth of understanding and perspective to rediscovering the passion and joy of weaving in her mid sixties .
