Kyla Jonson started off taking Fine Arts at Grant MacEwan in Edmonton. From there she decided to take Interior Design at Mount Royal in Calgary. Kyla has taken different things from her education and combined them in creating this series of work. Color, composition and subject matter are very important to her. The paintings are a combination of realism and abstract art. The construction lines give the pieces movement and interest and are taken from her days in Design.
